Madurai: The Janata Party will have seat adjustments with the BJP and contest in 10 to 15 seats for the April 13 Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu, party President Subramanian Swamy said on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters here, Swamy said the party had sought the Election Commission's permission to contest on the BJP symbol.
If there was a problem in securing it, then it may seek the EC nod to contest on its own symbol, which has been frozen due to a dispute between the EC and the party, he said.

Swamy said there would be a hung assembly after the polls as people were "fed up" with the "high levels" of corruption by successive DMK and AIADMK alliances.
"Even if five Janata party MLAs are elected I can assure a corruption free next government," he claimed.

On investigation into the 2G spectrum allocation scam, Swamy said it was going on as per schedule and CBI was expected to file a charge sheet before March 31. "More people at higher levels will get exposed as investigation moves ahead," he said.
He demanded the resignation of Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee for Enforcement Directorate's "shoddy" investigation in the Hasan Ali case, which enabled him get bail.

"It is their duty to submit enough documents and establish the offence. It is obvious they did not do so for some strange reason," Swamy said.
The party's poll plank would be corruption, inflation and lawlessness and they would also offer solutions, he said.
