Breaking News! People in Tunisia celebrated with joy, as Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi announced hisresignation at the televised address to the nation. This is the second time in two months people in Tunisia have toppled their government.

Tunisia sparked off all revolutions in the Arab world, when its President Zine el-Abidine Ben Ali had to resign and flee the country with golds and huge money after the people revolted against him.

The Tunisian people felt that Prime Minister Mohamed Ghannouchi failed to revive the country's fortune after Ben Ali's fall. They held peaceful demonstration to seek his ouster and it paid off.

The general elections in Tunisia will be held on July 15. However, it will be a challenge for the caretaker government to hang on till July and conduct the elections in a free and fair manner.
